Treasures of Egypt tour will give you the chance to explore Egypt in-depth while taking unique different routes. Only in 12 days, travel the length of Egypt, start and end in Cairo! Begin by spending time at the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza. Then, take a drive to many destinations in Egypt, namely Fayoum, El Minya, Amarna, Assuit, Abydos, and Dandara. Embark on a leisurely paced Nile Cruise, and sail along the world’s longest river from Luxor to Aswan where you will take your flight back to Cairo.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo:

Arrive at Cairo Airport where you will meet and be assisted by our representative. Then, get transferred to your hotel and enjoy dinner.

Overnight at the hotel in Cairo.

Day 2: Visit Giza Pyramids & Sakkara:

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in the morning before starting your pyramid tour where you will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. You will have lunch at a local restaurant. Not far away lies the Necropolis of Saqqara where the ruins of the Step Pyramid of King Zoser.

Overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

Meals: Breakfast.

Visits: Great Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Saqqara, Step Pyramid of King Zoser.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Cairo:

After breakfast, You will explore Cairo, the city of a thousand minarets, by starting the tour to Salah El Din Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, then proceed to Sultan Hassan Mosque and Madrasa which is considered Stylistically the most compact and unified of all Cairo monuments. Then, you will visit the Mosque of Ahmed Ibn Tulun; this mosque is considered to be the third large mosque built in Egypt. It is characterized by its spacious hall, its unique spiral minaret, and a large collection of gypsum decorations.

Meals: Breakfast.

Visits: Cairo, Salah El Din Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, Sultan Hassan Mosque and Madrasa, Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque.

 

Day 4: Traveling to Fayoum & El Minya:

After breakfast, You will have an early departure to be driven from Cairo to Fayoum, 60 km from Cairo. You will visit Lake Qaroun and then proceed to the National park of Wadi Rayan where we visit the Water Falls, Gabal Al Modawara, and the Wales Cemetery. Enjoy a picnic lunch. Later, you will head to El Minya and upon arrival, you will be transferred to El Minya and check-in at your hotel.

Meals: Breakfast.

Visits: Fayoum, Lake Qaroun, National park of Wadi Rayan, Fayoum Water Falls, Gabal Al Modawara, Wales Cemetery, El Minya.

Day 5: Sightseeing in El Minya:

After breakfast, You will visit the necropolis of Tuna El Gabal. Proceed to Al Ashmunien, the ancient city of Hermopolis. Then, proceed to the site of Beni Hasan.

Overnight at the hotel.

Meals: Breakfast.

Visits: El Minya, The Necropolis of Tuna El Gabal, Al Ashmunien, Beni Hasan.

Day 6: Visit Amarna, Assuit and Abydos:

After breakfast, you will be driven to Tell Al Amarna, the capital of Akhnaton. Then, you will go to Assuit city to visit Al Muharraq Monastery, and then you will head to Meir Village. Last, you will be driven to Abydos.

Overnight at Abydos

Meals: Breakfast.

Visits: Tell Al Amarna, Assuit city, Al Muharraq Monastery, Meir Village.

Day 7: Abydos, Dandara and Luxor:

After breakfast, You will visit Fortress Shonet El Zebeeb, the first building in history,  the temple of Seti the 1st. After lunch, you will be driven to the complex of Dandara temple. After your visit, you will travel to Luxor.

Overnight in Luxor.

Meals: Breakfast.

Visits: Abydos, Fortress Shonet El Zebeeb, Temple of Seti the 1st, Complex of Dandara Temple, Luxor.

Day 8: Embarking your Nile Cruise:

– Transfer to embark on your cruise before lunch.

– Enjoy lunch on board.

– Go to the East Bank where you will visit the Temples of Luxor and Karnak

– Have an appetizing dinner on board.

Overnight in Luxor.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Visits: Luxor, Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple.

Day 9: Visiting West Bank & Sailing to Edfu:

– Enjoy breakfast on board.

– Go to West Bank one more time to visit this time the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

– Sail to Edfu via Esna.

– Have a lovely lunch on board.

– Enjoy an afternoon tea while relaxing.

– Have dinner on board.

Overnight in Edfu.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Visits: West Bank, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Edfu.

Day 10: Sailing to Kom Ombo:

– Have breakfast on board.

– Visit Horus Temple in Edfu.

– Enjoy lunch on board.

– Enjoy an afternoon tea and a relaxing time while sailing to Kom Ombo.

– Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo shared by the two gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo.

– Sail to Aswan.

– Have an appetizing dinner on board.

Overnight in Aswan.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Visits: Horus Temple, Kom Ombo, Kom Ombo Temple, Aswan.

Day 11: Sightseeing in Aswan:

– Have breakfast on board.

– Visit the High Dam, Philae Temple, and Unfinished Obelisk.

– Enjoy lunch on board.

– Enjoy an afternoon tea with a charming and magnificent view.

– Have dinner on board.

Overnight in Aswan.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 12: Final Departure:

– Have breakfast on board.

– Disembark after breakfast.

– Get transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo where you will take your flight home.

Booking Policy

Price quotes are in US dollars per person per trip and are valid until December 31st, 2021. Please inquire for pricing over Christmas, New Year’s, and Easter holidays

Children Policy
  • Up to 2 years: FREE
  • Age from 2 to 11 years: Children price
  • Ages 12 and Up: adult price.

Notes :

  • Children policy is applied to children who share rooms with their parents ( Maximum 1 Child sharing parent’s room )
  • If your tour includes airfare, additional charges for your children may apply.
Booking Policy

We are offering a low down payment of just 10% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, therefore, making your booking a risk-free investment.

Tipping

Tipping for a job well done is customary in Egypt, though not required. Please feel welcomed but not obliged to offer a tip to your guide.

Cancellation Policy
  • In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:

From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.

Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to the airline’s cancellation policy.
